This scrapbook was created by the Wrigley sisters Marion & Constance from Bury. They made it as a Christmas present in 1878 for James, George, Edwin & Harold Alcock.
The pages of the album are made from cotton cloth with pictures cut from books and magazines stuck on each page. The pages are hemmed with embroidery threads using buttonhole stitch.
